Doug Davis has been University Librarian at Cal State Los Angeles since 1995. Prior to that he was Associate Dean of Libraries at Cal State Northridge.
He served as staff for the CSU Libraries Strategic Plan entitled "Transforming CSU Libraries for the 21st Century".
He was the Chair of the UIAS Review Group which determined the feasibility of UIAS during 1995-96, and chaired the Evaluation Team which was responsible for the RFP and BFO process that led to the selection of a recommended UIAS vendor. In 1997 he has served on the UIAS Management Team and UIAS Contract Negotiation Team.
