This meeting provides an opportunity for northern California CARL members, Interest Group leaders and Campus Liaisons to meet with 1998 CARL officers to discuss plans for the year and issues of interest to Californiaās academic and research library community. Northern California Campus Liaisons and Interest Group officers should plan to attend and all CARL members are welcome.

The agenda for the meeting will include the following topics:

1. 1998 planning calendar review
2. Sixth Annual Conference planning
3. Seventh Annual (1999) Conference planning
4. 1998 elections and awards
5. Update on Bylaws revision and incorporation plans
6. Communication among CARL members
7. Other Interest Group and membership issues

Dominican College is located at 50 Acacia Ave., in San Rafael. Take Highway 101 to the Central San Rafael exit (15 miles north of San Francisco) and watch for green signs pointing the way to the College. From 101 North, proceed north on Irwin Ave. to Mission Ave. and turn right. From 101 South, turn left immediately on Mission. Proceed east on Mission to Grand Ave. and turn left. Proceed north on Grand to Acacia Ave. and the campus. Parking is available in the Dominican College parking lot on the west side of Grand Ave., or you may turn right on Acacia, follow Acacia to the Library, which is located near the intersection of Grand and Magnolia, and park on the street.
