If you are interested in becoming an active member of the CARL Collection Development Group, please join us for our next business meeting on:

The business meeting will be followed by a round table discussion. Here's a tentative agenda:

Business Meeting

• Discuss plans for a Spring workshop on Disaster Planning for Collections, in collaboration
  with CALM, highlighting CSU Hayward's and Santa Clara University's recent experiences with fire
  and flooding.
• Discuss other ideas for workshops, programs, and other activities over the next year and a
  half

Round table discussion. Possible topics:

• Impact of services such as Link + on collection development
• Report from the CARL pre-conference on electronic books
• Impact of electronic journals: is it time to cancel the print subscriptions?
• Consortial Agreements
