Join us for SEAL South's next Excellent Adventure: a tour of the magnificent Lotusland gardens in Montecito east of Santa Barbara.
The Lotusland gardens were created by former opera singer Madame Ganna Walska
(1887-1984) and include a fern garden, water garden, Japanese garden, aloe
garden, cycad garden, succulents garden, topiary garden, and rose garden, among
others. The docent-led tour is a 1 ½ to 2 hour walk that covers about 1.5
miles. Our group is only allowed to bring ten cars to
Lotusland so we will meet at the Vons parking lot in Montecito (1040 Coast
Village Road) at 12:45 PM and carpool to the gardens from there (we will leave
for the gardens promptly at 1:00 PM).
SEAL South created this rare opportunity for you to experience these exclusive gardens. Reservations were made a year inadvance. Attendance is limited to 50 people. The cost is $20 per person for CARL members and $25 per person for non-members. This covers the entrance fee. The registration deadline is August 13. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Payment must accompany the registration form. No refunds will be issued after August 13. There will no on-site registration. Sign up today!
