CARDIG-N Presents: Librarians as Authors: Getting Yourself Published in Professional Journals

This is a program for anyone interested in learning more about publishing your own work in professional journals in library and information science. Our speakers will be published authors who will share their insights and tips, and there will be time for questions and answers.

In addition, we will have a mini-publishing fair at the session. This will be an opportunity for attendees to display their own publications or for prospective authors to get further ideas. See below for information about submitting publications.

This session is for any librarian (new or seasoned) to get together to talk about a variety of aspects of publishing, and we hope to see you there!

Our speakers will be:

Her publishing experience includes two journal articles, two book chapters, and a web directory of interest groups. She also serves on the College & Research Libraries editorial board. Kathi will provide tips for improving the likelihood that web projects are accepted by institutions as professional work.
