YET ANOTHER SEAL SOUTH EXCELLENT ADVENTURE TO THE SANTA ROSA PLATEAU & TEMECULA WINERIES

9:30 AM to 12 Noon - Walking tour of the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve, 39400 Clinton Keith Rd., Murietta, CA (951)677-6951 (hike is 2 to 3 miles) led by Reserve Guide. For more information about the Santa Rosa Plateau see: http://santarosaplateau.org Directions from L.A. - Take I-5 South to 91 East to I-15 South. Exit at Clinton Keith Road turn right and drive west approximately 4 miles. Look for the reserve sign and entrance on left and park at the Visitor’s center parking lot and meet at the Visitor’s Center (951)677-6951) at 9:30AM.
12noon to 12:30PM Drive from the Plateau to Temecula Wine country See: http://www.temeculawines.org for more details. Directions to lunch and wineries will be given at the walk.
12:30 to 2PM No Host Lunches Temecula Promenade Mall, 40820 Winchester Rd, Temecula, CA (Choices for lunch include Greek, Japanese, Red Robin, Calif. Pizza Kitchen, Chinese, and a Mongolian Grill).
2:00PM -5:00PM Wine tasting at the Thornton Winery, 32575 Rancho California Rd, and time permitting Baily Winery, 33440 La Serena at the corner of Rancho California Rd. and La Serena.
Cost $10 per attendee (covers entrance fees, and snacks) - Checks made payable to CARL. – Lunch and wine tasting fees not included.
Kids are welcome to join hike. Bring hat, water, sunscreen and very comfortable hiking shoes. Plateau tour limited to 25 attendees.
