CARL Southern Regional Meeting

All CARL members are invited and encouraged to attend this important
orientation meeting for CARL South groups.
CARL President, Sandy Vella, will be present and will discuss:
- overall CARL planning for the year
- planning for the 1997 CARL Conference
- continuing development of the CARL Website
- membership recruitment foci and strategies
- the introduction of new CARL interest groups
Interest Group Leaders and Campus Liaisons will have an opportunity to meet
and discuss:
- their program planning for the year
- coordination and potential cosponsorship opportunities
- tips on putting on successful programs
- ways to effectively use volunteers
- ways in which the CARL Executive Board can better support interest groups
and campus liaisons
Deborah Schaeffer, CARL Interest Group Coordinator South, and Locke
Morrisey, CARL Campus Liaison Coordinator South, will also be at this
meeting, and will be presiding over a separate session of campus liaisons
and interest group leaders.
FREE PARKING is available near the library (map and directions available
upon request). REFRESHMENTS will be served beginning at 9:00 am.
