* Docent-led garden tour starts at 10:00 am, followed by
* Tour of RSABG Library including treasures from the rare book
collection
* Box lunch at 12:30 pm in the Home Demonstration garden
The Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden is devoted to the collection,
cultivation, study, and display of California native plants. It is also
a research facility offering a graduate program in Botany in cooperation
with the Claremont Graduate School. April is a peak month for many
flowering native plants; we expect to see a variety wildflowers,
perennials, and shrubs in bloom. We can also expect to see a great
variety of birds. Bird check lists are available at the Gift Shop.
DIRECTIONS:
>From I-10, take the Indian Hill Boulevard exit north (approximately 1.5
miles) to Foothill Boulevard. Turn right on Foothill Boulevard and go
east 3 blocks to College Avenue. Turn left on College Avenue and proceed
north to RSABG parking lot. A map is available at

OTHER INFORMATION:
* Native plants, books, and other items can be purchased at the Gift
Shop.
* This is a walking tour - be prepared for mild hiking conditions. Dress
for the weather. You may want to bring a hat, sunscreen, water.
* Garden is open 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
