The University of California, Irvine Libraries seeks a knowledgeable, skilled scholar/researcher for the position of UC Irvine Libraries 50th Anniversary Project Historian in the Department of Special Collections and Archives. This full-time, temporary position is embedded in the Libraries’ 50th Anniversary Historical Documentation Project which will collect, preserve, and make available historical records and memories focusing on UC Irvine’s pioneering intellectual contributions, key turning points, and unique legacy. The position will be available September 1, 2014 and will end in June 2016.
The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Preferred appointment level is $47,722 – $59,089.
