The primary professional responsibilities include coordinating and assessing the Library’s instruction program that supports teaching and learning. The successful candidate will establish an effective information literacy program and will explore and support new models of information delivery and use including new pedagogical approaches such as inquiry-based learning, peer-to-peer learning, game-based learning and library services that support high impact learning opportunities. He/she will work collaboratively with library faculty, staff and campus partners to integrate library resources and services into the campus’ learning management system. The incumbent will also lead a process of continuously assessing and transforming the library’s instruction program and services to meet the needs of students. Responsibilities also include service on system-wide and campus committees and task forces, and activities that foster professional growth.
