Librarian – Instructional Services

The Annie Gabriel Library at California Baptist University seeks an innovative, collaborative, service-oriented faculty librarian to manage the library’s instructional services programs.  The Instructional Services Librarian provides instruction and research assistance in various settings and formats to students and faculty, provides specialized research assistance to graduate students, and manages the library’s subject guides.  The Instructional Services Librarian reports to the Director of the Library, works closely with other members of the library staff, and collaborates with faculty across the university to ensure that the library’s instructional services programs supports the many and varied academic programs offered by the university.  The successful candidate will have knowledge of and experience using the most current instructional methods and technologies to teach information literacy skills in the academic library setting.   An MLIS or equivalent degree from an ALA accredited institution is required.  This is a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty position.
