The University of California, Irvine Libraries seeks an enthusiastic and knowledgeable librarian to serve as an Education and Outreach Librarian. The core responsibilities include teaching information literacy workshops for the lower division writing courses, participating in library outreach events, providing in-person and virtual reference service, and creating and updating online information guides.
This will be a full-time, temporary appointment for one year from the date of hire. The position will be available in September, 2014. Appointment will be at the Assistant or Associate Librarian level within the salary range $47,722 – $59,057, depending on qualifications and experience.
