September minutes were approved electronically and Duffy Tweedy posted them to the SCIL website.

IV.        Continuing Business

A. SCIL Works

The deadline for proposals is 10/26. SCIL Works will be held at the Claremont Colleges on Friday, 1/25. The maximum number of registrants is 75. Space use and needs for the program were discussed.

B. SCIL Elections

The Candidate Biography and Statement form will be sent to candidates on 10/15. The slate is:

Registrar: Niki Julian (USC) and Eric Garcia (CSU Northridge)

Secretary: Kimberly Wilcox (Azusa Pacific)

Vice Chair/Chair Elect: April Cunningham

Only current CARL members in the SCIL interest group are eligible to vote in the election.

Elections will take place from Nov. 1 through Nov. 15. Results will be announced before Nov. 30.
